Terms of Service

These are the terms for using Haulist ("the service", "we"). By creating an account or using the service you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use Haulist.

What Haulist does

Haulist lets you save links to things you're thinking about buying, organise them, and optionally get notified when prices drop. That's it.

Your account

• You must be 16 or older to use Haulist.
• Keep your password safe. You're responsible for activity on your account.
• Give us a real email so we can reach you about account-related things.

Acceptable use

Please don't:

• Use the service to do anything illegal or to harm others.
• Try to break, overload, or reverse-engineer the service.
• Scrape Haulist or automate bulk requests against it.
• Save content that's illegal, harassing, or infringes someone else's rights.
• Use Haulist to resell or rebuild a similar service.

We can suspend or close accounts that break these rules.

Your content

The items, notes, and lists you save belong to you. You give us permission to store and display them back to you (and to anyone you explicitly share a list with) so we can run the service. We don't claim ownership of your content.

Content from other websites

When you save a link, we fetch publicly available information from that page (title, image, description, price). That content belongs to the original site and is shown to you for personal reference only. Prices and availability change — always check the seller's site before buying.

Service availability

We try to keep Haulist up and working, but we don't guarantee it will always be available, bug-free, or accurate. Features may change or be removed.

No warranties

Haulist is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We're not responsible for purchasing decisions you make based on information shown in the app, including price data.

Limit of liability

To the extent allowed by law, we're not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of Haulist. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't legally be limited (such as for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud).

Closing your account

You can delete your account at any time from Settings. We may close accounts that break these terms or that have been inactive for a long time, after letting you know.

Privacy

How we handle your data is covered in our Privacy Policy.

Changes

We may update these terms over time. If the changes are material, we'll let you know by email or in-app. Continuing to use Haulist after the change means you accept the new terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes will be handled by the courts of England and Wales, unless mandatory consumer-law rules in your country give you the right to bring the case locally.
